Studies in Christianity in China

This series extends our understanding of the Christian missionary movement in China from the time of the Jesuits in the Ming dynasty to the Protestants in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Books in this series explore the complexities of Chinese Christianity, considering the impact of the missionary movement on both the Chinese people and the countries that sent missionaries to China. Edited by Joseph W. Ho, Assistant Professor of History at Albion College and Center Associate at the Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies, University of Michigan.
